Outstanding HOSA Advisor
HOSA gives special recognition to one Secondary HOSA Advisor, one Postsecondary/Collegiate HOSA Advisor and one Middle School HOSA Advisor from each state association during the International Leadership Conference. This is a means of recognizing advisors for the time and effort they expend making their HOSA chapters the very best they can be. To nominate an advisor, please fill out this form by March 1, 2024.

Free Opioid Training for Certified/Lisenced Health Professionals
The SW WA AHEC has received a Practical Application to Comprehensive Treatment of Pain grant to offer a FREE 3-hour
training on the “safe integration of opioids into personalized pain management.” The attendee will learn to mitigate risks,
identify signs of opioid dependence, and gain the expertise to optimally manage patient pain and medication use, in turn,
making a positive impact on public health. This FREE training is available to ANY licensed/certified health sciences provider in
Washington state. All completers will receive a certificate of completion from PriMed. Grant period ends September 30th,
2024.
